The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 11, 2006, B7. Marguerite Rachel Perusse, 70, of Glendale, Ariz., passed away from us on Monday, Sept. 25 after a long fight with COPD. She passed away in her sleep quietly and in no pain. She will be dearly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Jean Perusse in May 1999, her father Theodore Vallieres in 1994, her mother Germaine Vallieres in 2002, and brother Raymond Vallieres in 1963. Marguerite was born on May 12, 1936 to Theodore and Germaine. She was a life member of Soroptimist International of Wickenburg, having served many offices including president and historian. She was active in the Wickenburg area until 1998, when she was diagnosed with COPD. She gave a gallant fight. She passed away under the care of Hospice. Marguerite was a loving mother and grandmother to her son Dwayne Perusse and grandchildren Michele Winner and Marcel Perusse (and great-grandson Joseph Bailey Winner). Other family members include Jackie Larmie of Bedford, N.H., Mes Yvette Mcvay of Orange Parks, Fla., brother Theodore Vallieres Jr. of Dunbarton, N.H., and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday (Oct. 12) at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Wickenburg. |
