| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Oct. 18, 2006, B12 Bertie J. Davis, age 64, passed away Oct. 9 in Phoenix. She was born and raised in Chino Valley, Ariz., and had lived in various locations in Arizona during her lifetime. She and her husband Clarence came to the area in the early 1970s to work on the Central Arizona Project and settled in Salome. Bertie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 1995. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Belinda and Robert Lansford of Los Altos, Calif., and son and daughter-in-law Bart and Michelle Davis of Salome, brother Thurman Shannon and his wife Elaine of Lordsburg, N.M., sisters Patsy White (Nick) of Springerville, Ariz., Anna Baker and Billie Weaver (Mark) both of New Mexico; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No formal services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home. |
