Donald E. Myerson, beloved husband to Beth and father to Tracie Corkill, died Dec. 14. He was born in Denver, Colo., and lived in Denver until moving to Scottsdale, Ariz., in 1987.

He graduated from Colorado Military Academy and from the University of Denver where he was a member of Lambda Chi fraternity. He served in the Colorado National Guards as a young man.

Donald had a strong love for horses and competed in the show jumping circuit for many years where he won numerous awards.

Donald was a Realtor for more than 50 years and was affiliated with several prominent companies in the Denver area. He served as president of the Aurora Board of Realtors. Donald completed 53 years of membership in the Masonic Fraternity and 52 years as a member of the 32nd Degree of Scottish Rite Masonry. He was a Shriner, where he was a member of the Palomino Patrol. When coming to Wickenburg, he joined the Wickenburg Gem and Mineral Society and attended the Presbyterian Church.

Donald is survived by his wife Beth, daughter Tracie, her husband Cliff and their grandchildren Cailee, Conner and Collin.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Nina and Louie Myerson, his sister Louise Aranoff, and a daughter DeeAnn.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 11:30 a.m. at his home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to: International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, Attn: Karen Sussman, President, P.O. Box 55, Lantry, SD 57636; or to the Wickenburg Humane Society, P.O. Box 147, Wickenburg AZ 85358.

Arrangements are by David's Desert Chapel Funeral Home in Wickenburg.
