Murray "Colby" Belshe, 67, died March 29, 2008, in Springerville. He was born July 25, 1940, in Thatcher to Murray T. and Fay Hamblin Belshe.

Colby served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1958-1962. He was an artist in drawings, oil painting, woodcarving and leather working. He was a truck driver.

Colby is survived by his daughters, Sonya Watkins of Gilbert, Monya Williams of Gilbert and Kristen Walledom of Sulphur, La.; brothers Charles Belshe, Michael Belshe and Bill Belshe; sisters Nanna Roundy, Naydine Farrow, Pamela Martin and Penelope Ryan; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Nanna Darrow and Walter Frances Belshe and Ida Lee and Don Carlos Hamblin; brother Walter Carl Belshe; and daughters Tisha Marie Belshe and Kimberly Dawn Belshe.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 2, at the Springerville Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Springerville. Visitation was held before the service at the church. Interment was at the Eagar Cemetery.
