Michael James Bockus, 31, of Eagar died June 27, 2007 in Eagar.

He was born March 31, 1976 to Richard and Carol Bockus in Cedarville, Calif. Michael was an honest and hardworking man. He was especially generous and a very loyal friend. He was always ready to help when family or friends had a need, whatever the cost. He loved camping, cars, big trucks, John Deere tractors and horses. He liked to rodeo, being particularly fond of everything western- music, clothes and the lifestyle of John Wayne.

Mike married Suzanne Sevec Dec. 18, 1998. To this union three children were born: Cody, Dallas and Felicity. They lost Dallas at birth and they both never got over it. The marriage failed. Two years later his father died unexpectedly. He was devastated. On July 21, 2006 he married Pauline Mull.

Mike was a very loving son, brother, husband and father. His children adored him. He was a good provider, always in demand for his special talent as a welder. He was also an outstanding mechanic. He was a very outspoken spirited young man who was dearly loved by those who knew him.

Mike is survived by his wife Pauline of Eagar; son Cody James Bockus of Eagar; step-sons Luis Martinez of Chino Valley; Jesi Martinez of Eagar; Rocky Mull of Eagar; daughter Felicity Lynn Bockus of Eagar; step-daughters Leticia (Alex) McGrath of Eagar; Myhia Mull of Eagar; mother Carol L. Bockus of Eagar; brothers David A. (Jeanette) Bockus of Eagar; Jonathan E. Bockus of Eagar; sister Joy A. (Matthew) Schwank of Lewiston, Idaho; grandfather George W. Davis of Orleans, Nebraska; and step-grandchildren Trinity Lynn, Cadence Rose and Tara Jade McGrath of Eagar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard C. Bockus; son Dallas Ray Bockus; grandparents Richard C. and Vera M. Bockus, and Cleda M. Davis.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6 at 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Springerville. Interment will follow at the Eagar Cemetery.
