| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 09/12/2008 Stephen Paul Romance, 56, died Sept. 7, 2008, in Springerville. He was born March 7, 1952, in Tupper Lake, N.Y. Steve enjoyed working on cars and traveling in the outdoors with his family. He was an accomplished writer and artist. He is survived by his wife, Jean Romance of Springerville; son Dominic Romance of Springerville; mother Edna Romance of Show Low; brothers Andy Romance of Payson and Tim Romance of Lakeside; sister Maggie Romance of Oro Valley; and their families. Steve was preceded in death by his father, George L. Romance, and brother George Michael Romance. A rosary was held Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Burnham Mortuary in Eagar. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Springerville. Interment followed the service at the Eagar Cemetery.
