| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 11/02/2007 Melvin Rudy Bloomfield, 82, died peacefully Oct. 28, 2007. He was born in Ramah, N.M. to Richard Henry and Rachel Burk Bloomfield Dec. 13, 1924. Rudy enjoyed riding horses, being in the mountains and working on the ranch. He loved his family and friends. He was always active and had a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Rudy married Sarah Louise Haws March 1, 1950, whom he loved deeply. She preceded him in death in 1996. They have 10 children, seven boys and three girls, 52 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Sue and Charley Castillo of Silver City, N.M.; Russell and Marcia Bloomfield of St. Johns; Rachel and Randy Elliott of Mountain Home, Idaho; Richard and Robin Bloomfield of Alpine, Utah; Ellis and Carol Bloomfield of St. Johns; Curtis and Wendy Bloomfield of Snowflake; Charley and Stephanie Bloomfield of Wimberly, Texas; Atella and Joe Gray of Safford; Carl and Kristen Bloomfield of Gilbert; Jim and Chauntele of Moscow, Idaho; sisters, Elda Rencher of Bountiful, Utah; and Elsie Clawson, Ramah, N.M. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 31, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Amity Building in Eagar. Interment followed at the Eagar Cemetery.
