Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home Prescott, Arizona 1/3/1921 - 9/7/2009 William A. Ramsey (Bill), passed away on Monday, September 7, 2009 at the age of 88. Bill was born January 3, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri and raised was raised there by his parents, Arnold and Maude Ramsey. After serving in the United States Army, he settled in California where he worked for many years before starting his own business of building custom homes in Big Bear, California. Bill and his wife, Jeane retired to Prescott in 1998. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeane; his daughter, Kathleen Cole and his sons, William Jr., Robert, Richard and Timothy, all of whom live out of state. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Bill is also fondly remembered by Jeane's daughters, Cathy, Cindy and his 3 step-children.. The family is respecting Bill's wishes not to have a memorial service.
