Shirley Waldene Gann
(May 27, 1949 - September 12, 2009)

Shirley Waldene Gann, 60, of St. Johns, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009, at her residence following a long illness. She was born May 27, 1949, at Show Low, the daughter of Wallace and Fern (Penrod) Johnson. She was raised and attended school at Lakeside, graduating from Lakeside High School in 1967. She attended cosmetology school in San Diego.

She was married to Mike Malone in 1965 and to Roger Andrews in 1969. She was married to Charles Gann on January 14, 1984 in Las Vegas.

She enjoyed gardening and crafts. She was a member of the Meadows Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St. Johns.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie, of the home; two daughters, Shellina Smith of Lakeside and Roxanne Andrews of St. Johns; two step daughters, LaTecia Klink and husband Mark of Mohawk, NY and Deon Gann of Animas, NM; four sisters, Celia Parkinson of Lakeside, Janet Smelser of Lakeside, Connie Smith of Thatcher and Rhonda Kiepke of Washington; three brothers, Joe Mettie and Louis Mettie both of Lakeside and Randy Johnson of Holbrook; grandchildren, Cassie, Jamie, Callie, Shelby, Chrystal, Casey, Brent and Gene; great grandchildren, Hailey and Summer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Shawn Malone; two sisters, Jerrie Penrod and Marie Duke.

Viewing will be 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 15 at the mortuary and Wednesday, September 16 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Lakeside Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Burial will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery
