Wilda M. Strum of Wickenburg passed away Feb. 4 in Peoria, Ariz. She was born Nov. 7, 1918 in Marion, Ohio. She resided in Arizona for 50 years.

She is survived by daughters Jackye Powell and Bonnie Lemaire, son William Sturm, eight grandchildren – Betsy, Bobbi, Keith, Kevin, Ray, Bill, Christopher and Jennifer, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Wilda was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Bill Sturm.

Wilda and Bill moved to Arizona in 1955 for Goodyear Aircraft. Wilda worked many years for American Greeting. She became best known as the “card lady” at Bashas.

A private ceremony was held.
