Aimee Lynn (Addair) Woodard

Aimee Lynn Woodard, 47, of Cottonwood, was born Feb. 14, 1960, in Phoenix, Ariz., and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007.

She is preceded in death by grandparents George Dumas and George and Eva Addair.

Aimee’s surviving family members are her husband of five years, Larry Woodard of Cottonwood; parents Donald and Jane Addair of Prescott Valley; brother Chris Addair of Flagstaff; sister Teresa Ligammar of Staten Island, N.Y., and grandmother Lena Dumas of Prescott.

Aimee was an employee of the Cottonwood Safeway Deli for seven years.

Aimee courageously battled two kidney transplants, years of dialysis, two heart attacks, a stroke, numerous surgeries and physical sufferings, yet encouraged and impressed others with her sense of humor, her unwavering trust in God and an intense love for others.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at First Assembly of God Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave., Cottonwood, Ariz.
