| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, September 10, 2009 Michael E. Hill, 56, of Prescott, Ariz., died Sept. 10, 2009, at his home in Prescott. He was born June 28, 1953, in Phoenix, Ariz., the son of Richard and Billie (Mooney) Hill. Mike proudly served his country, retiring after 20 years from the United States Air Force as a master sergeant. Mike will be most remembered as the calming, friendly, deferential voice that answered the phones at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. He was honored as the Employee of the Year in 2007. Mike is survived by Vicky and children, Jeffrey, Eric, Steven, Stacy, Shawna and Stephanie; and his brothers, Gary (Charlene) and Glenn (Gina). A celebration of Mike's life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez, Prescott. Private inurnment will be at Prescott National Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to YRMC Hospice, restricted fund, 3262 N. Windsong Dr., Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
