Jeannene Agnes (Gurley) Weeks - Spratt

Jeannene Agnes Spratt passed into eternal life on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009. She was born April 17, 1933, in Locust Grove, Okla., and raised her four children in Riverside, Calif.

She married Jack Spratt on April 6, 1983, after meeting at the local Elks Lodge. They spent their time traveling around the world and this great country of ours, always ready for an adventure with her R.V. club. She was also involved in activities with Greyhound Pets of America-Arizona rescue group with her beloved greyhound, Daisy.

Jeannene loved reading and learning; she was a wealth of knowledge and could easily converse on almost any subject. She now joins her son Herman Shane Weeks and brother Dan Gurley. Jeannene leaves behind her loving husband Jack Spratt; and her children, Christine (Jan) Witzel, Victoria (Kelvin) Otis and Robert (Louise) Weeks. She is also survived by her brother, David (Katrina) Gurley, and her grandchildren, Colin and Erik Otis and April, Lucas and Phillip Weeks, and great-granddaughters Kara and Danielle Otis (children of Colin); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at Chino Valley Funeral Home, 480 W. Palomino Road in Chino Valley with continued celebration of her life at their home immediately after the service. For online remembrances visit www.HeritageFuneralChapels.com.
