The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, September 09, 2009 Mrs. Rose Marie Snyder of Prescott, Ariz., died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, just shy of her 83rd birthday. She was born Sept. 10, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pa., and was the daughter of Wilbur and Ruth (Park) Masker of Glenwood, N.J. In her lifetime she was a nurse and medical assistant, and her last employment, which she loved, was cooking at the café in the Newman Center at ASU. She was the instigation and motivation behind starting the Hospital Equipment Lending Program operating out of the Circleville Presbyterian Church in Circleville, N.Y. She was the wife of Robert W. Snyder for 55 years before he preceded her in death in 2003. She will be missed by a son, Joseph (Margo) Snyder of Chandler, Ariz.; a daughter, Sandra (Ted) Galde of Skull Valley, Ariz.; a niece, Debbie Moffett; a nephew, Bob Moffett; six grandchildren, Katie Snyder (Brad) Booth, Joey (Nichole) Snyder, Sara Snyder, Amanda Galde (Joey) Trent, Jason Galde and Ben Galde; and two great-grandchildren, Colin Booth and Joey Trent. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Granite Mountain Home Care & Hospice, 3107 Clearwater Dr., Prescott, AZ 86305, who provided her loving care for over three years on Home Health and then on Hospice. There will be a graveside service 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz., where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.
