Zelan Dollar, 92, of Piper Springs, passed way Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006 at Tucson Arizona. She was born Sept. 19, 1914 in Byars, Okahoma to Charles and Eliza Willard. In 1941 she moved to the Copper Basin area where she raised her family. Mrs. Dollar loved music and in her younger years played the music for dances in Dudleyville. She ran the snack Bar rat the Hayden High School where she was lovingly known as "Granny" to all students. Survivors include her daughters, Delcene Hise of Aravaipa, Veinda Gardner of Tucson, and jerry Ritter of Piper Springs; Larry Dollar of Springtown,Texas. 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation and funeral services for Mrs. Dollar were held Sunday, Dec. 10, at Griffith Mortuary with Pastor Keith Huffman conducting. 12/13/2006 |
