Clorene A. (Rowe) Joyner

Memorial services for Mrs. Clorene A. Joyner, who passed away July 8, 2005 at Wickenburg Community Hospital, will be held Thursday (July 14) at 9 a.m. at Frey-Wickenburg Funeral Home, with Pastor Byron Joyner officiating.

Mrs. Joyner was born and raised in Louisburg, N.C.

She attended schools there and married J. Harvey Joyner March 10, 1934, making Louisburg their home. They later moved to Arizona in 1968, settling in Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her husband on July 20, 1975. She then moved to Glendale and then later to Wickenburg to be near family.

She is survived by son Bobby Joyner and daughter Carolyn, both of Wickenburg; brothers Bryant Rowe, W.E. Rowe and Fenner Rowe, all of Louisburg, N.C.; grandchildren Byron Joyner of Phoenix, Ralton Harris of Louisburg, Robert Joyner of Peoria, Ariz., and Shannon McPherson and Michele Rosky of Phoenix; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers Saunders Rowe and David Rowe, sisters Nora Harper, Priscilla Duke, Swannie Upchurch and Mabel Valentine.
