| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 17, 2005, p.B17 Donald Mawhir, age 85, of Mayville, N.Y., formerly of Wickenburg passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10. He was born Sept. 16, 1919 in West Portland, N.Y. He was the son of Mynfred and Alice Gibb Mawhir He is survived by daughters Barbara McHugh of Hanson, Mass., and Judy Plante of Whitman, Mass.; sons Donald H. Mawhir II of Mayville, N.Y., and James Mawhir of Mayville with whom he made his home. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marion Ammeter Mawhir, daughter Diane Mawhir Lines, sister Irene Thomas, and brothers Mynfred and George Mawhir. Services were held in Mayville, N.Y. |
