| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, AZ 03/07/2008 Kennedy Gordon went home to be with the Lord March 1, 2008, at the Indian Health Service in Whiteriver. He was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Whiteriver. Kennedy is survived by his daughters, Lorraine Cosay, Evangeline Gordon, Beverly Hanna, Valerie Standing and Rachel Palizote; sons Kenneth Gordon, Elmo Gordon and Ricardo Palmer; sister Mary Patterson; 13 grandkids and 15 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Gordon; sons Winiford Gordon and John Gordon; and grandson Wilbert "Shadow" Cosay. A two-night wake will be held at Fidelis and Beverly Hanna's residence at Jackson Avenue No. 43 in Canyon Day, Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 10, at 1 p.m. at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day with Pastor Reno Johnson Sr. officiating.
