| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, AZ August 1, 2008 Donnie Grant (March 13, 1961 - July 25, 2008) Donnie Grant, age 47, entered eternal rest July 25, 2008 in Phoenix, AZ. Donnie was born March 13, 1961 in Whiteriver, AZ to Patrick and Katherine (Fall) Grant. He attended school in Whiteriver graduating from Alchesay High School in 1978. Donnie attended Northland Pioneer College in 2004, graduating in 2006 with an Associates of Arts Degree in Business. He worked as an accountant for the White Mountain Apache Tribe for over 5 years. He loved to play basketball and working on a variety of arts and crafts. Donnie loved to mingle with everyone and will greatly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Grant of Ft. Apache; Brothers, Leon (Dollie) Grant of China Town, Anthony Grant of Ft. Apache; sisters, Bernie (Mario) Minjarez of Whiteriver, Darlene Grant and Nissa (Daniel) Kessay all of Ft. Apache as well as many aunts, uncles and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick in 1983; sister, Sandra Grant in 2007; brother, Patrick, Jr. in 1964 and maternal grandmother, Naomi Harrina in 2007. A two night wake will begin 10:00 A.M. Friday August 1, 2008 at the home of Katherine Grant, 2406 S. Malone in Ft. Apache. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Sunday August 3, 2008 at the residence. Interment will follow in the Canyon Day Cemetery, Canyon Day Arizona See Also: Find A Grave |
