| Owens Livingston Mortuary Show Low, Arizona (September 4, 1959 - January 6, 2007) Sandra Grant, 47 of Whiteriver, passed away January 6, 2007 in Payson. Mrs. Nez, a payroll clerk for the Whiteriver School District, was born September 4, 1959 in Whiteriver. Sandra grew up in Whiteriver and graduated from East Fork High School, following high school she attended college at Central Arizona College in Casa Grande, where she studied nursing. Following school she returned to Whiteriver and started a family. Sandra then began working for the White Mountain Housing Authority in 1985 as a counselor, then went to work for the Whiteriver School District in 1990. She enjoyed crocheting, arts and crafts. She is survived by her three children, Nathaniel Hinton, Jr., Jonathan Hinton and Nicole Hinton all of Whiteriver. Her mother Katherine Grant of Fort Apache. Brothers Donnie Grant, Leon Grant and Anthony Grant, all of Whiteriver. Sisters Berni Minjarez of Whiteriver, Darlene Grant and Nissa Kessay both of Fort Apache. Two grandchildren Ethan and Nathan Hinton, two Godchildren, Deon Hinton, Jr. and Amber Kessay. A two-night wake will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, January 11, 2007 At Katherine's Home in Whiteriver. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the East Fork Lutheran Church in East Fork with Pastor Gary Lupe officiating.
