Norrine Hocking, 79, of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009.

Mrs. Hocking is survived by her husband of over sixty years, Harry Hocking; her children, Joyce Flick (Jerry) of Oro Valley, Ariz., Mike Hocking (Patti) of Mesa, Ariz., Col. David Hocking (Carole) of Tampa, Fla., and Lori Padilla (John) of Chandler, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Helen Sewell, of Wickenburg, Ariz. and Pauline Phillips, of Miami, Ariz.

Mrs. Hocking was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Davis and Marjorie Davis Lear; and a sister, Eathel Shaw.

Mrs. Hocking was a lifetime resident of Arizona and worked for 25 years at the Miami Inspiration Hospital. Mrs. Hocking loved her family and friends, traveling, collecting teapots and thimbles and working with her church, Claypool United Methodist.

Viewing was held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at the Claypool United Methodist Church; the funeral followed at 10 a.m. Her final resting place will be Mountain View Memorial Cemetery in Mesa, Ariz.; a short graveside service was held there at 1:30 p.m. The family requests donations be sent to the Claypool United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 2115, Claypool, AZ 85532.

Marjorie Norrine Hocking, age 79, passed away Sept. 12, 2009 in Cobre Valley Community Hospital in Globe, AZ, was born June 28, 1930 in Claypool, AZ to Paul and Marjorie Davis and was a pharmacy clerk.

She is survived by her husband Harry Hocking of Miami, her daughters Joyce Flick (Jerry) of Oro Valley and Lori Padilla (John) of Chandler, her sons Col. David Hocking (Carole) of Tampa Bay, Florida and Mike Hocking (Patti) of Gilbert and her sisters Helen Sewell of Wickenburg and Pauline Phillips of Miami.

The visitation will be held Sept. 19 at 9:30 am at Claypool United Methodist Church followed by the service at 10:00 am and the interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa. The family requests memorial contributions to:
