| Payson (AZ) Roundup Friday, March 25, 1994 Dorothy Mae Garrels, 73, passed away March 23, in Payson, Ariz. She was born Oct 27, 1920 in Kirkland, Ariz to parents, Ogden and Elizabeth Holder. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Payson area for the past 56 years. She was a member of Daughters of Gila County Pioneers and also Gila County Historical Society. Surviving are one son, Lester Garrels of Payson; two daughters, Alta Dudley and Beverly Gibson, both of Payson; one brother, Walter Holder of Prescott; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11am, March 26, at Payson Funeral Home with interment in Payson Pioneer Cemetery.
