| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 05/17/2007 In precious memory of the late West Anderson Sr., former tribal vice chairman and former tribal council member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe died and reunited with Our Heavenly Father May 12, 2007, in Miracle Valley, Sierra Vista. He was born Dec. 19, 1935 in Canyon Day. West is survived by his spouse, Victoria K. Anderson; sons West Anderson Jr., Stanley Anderson, Hayden Anderson, Sheldon Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Frank Anderson and Joshua Anderson; daughters Cheyanne Anderson Burnette and Julie Smith; 52 grandchildren/great-grandchildren; sisters Christina Declay and Costa Clawson; sister-in-law Angie Paxson and brother-in-law Benny Kinney. His body will be brought home for a two-night awake at his residence in Canyon Day Saturday, May 19, at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 21, at 1 p.m. at the Chief Alchesay Activity Center in Whiteriver, with Pastor Jerry Frawley officiating.
