| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 04/27/2007 Daniel Lavender Jr. went home to be with the Lord April 19, 2007, at Indian Health Services in Whiteriver. He was born Sept. 11, 1942, in Whiteriver. He will be dearly missed by all. Daniel is survived by his wife, Lorraine Lavender; sons Darrell Lavender, Donovan Lavender Sr. and Skylar Lavender; daughters Dorcas Lavender and Karlita James; brothers Alvin Lavender, Alvis Lavender Sr., Alfonso Lavender and Rick Daniels; sisters Jacqueline Lavender, Mary Ann Cantu, Adrienne Lavender, Karen Wallen-Laub, Dianna L. Malone, Shirl L. Kessay, Sonya L. George and Jennifer Lavender; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lavender Sr.; mother Elvira Wallen; brothers Nathaniel Lavender, George Wallen and Albert Lavender. A one-night wake will start at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, at Donovan Lavender Sr.'s residence in Canyon Day. Home services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the family home with Pastor Gary Lupe officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor and Whiteriver handled the arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
