| The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 9/09/2005 Elna Lafon Merrill died Sept. 6, 2005. Elna was born Oct. 15, 1920 in Eagar to Slyvester Hale and Lucy Butler Hale. She is survived by three daughters Marlene Bowers, Fonda Brown and Brenda Merrill; and her son Fred Merrill. She was preceded in death by her husband Rex Merrill. Grave side services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at 5 p.m. at the Eagar Cemetery. Meldrum/Burnham-Jewkes handled arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
