Johnnie Louise (Perry) Gonzales

Johnnie Louise Gonzales was born July 16, 1951 to Dorine Poe and Vernon E. Perry in Lordsberg NM. She died Sept. 15, 2009.

She moved to Arizona at a young age and began her respectable and charitable life as a big sister, nurse, mother, friend and angel.

She joins her sons, Chico Ray Cole and Mark Weston, as well as her beloved husband, Gilbert Gonzales, in heaven. She served her community for more than 25 years as a seasoned and compassionate nurse.

Johnnie has touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tara (Andrew) Press, Dorina Gonzales and Trisha Gonzales, and two sons, Aarron (Chalyce) and Paul (Stacy) Gonzales.

The true light of her eyes was her granddaughter, Natalynn, as well as seven additional grandchildren. She also leaves behind four sisters and her two "baby" brothers.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Owens Livingston Mortuary, Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19 South, in Snowflake.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at the Snowflake Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation to begin at 9 a.m.

Interment will be at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.

Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
