The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 08/02/2005 Cherylann Armstrong, whom to many was also known as "Chop" went home to be with the Lord July 26, 2005 in Phoenix. She was born Nov. 17, 1966 in Whiteriver. Cherylann is survived by sons Tyrone Eli May, Terran Joe May; mother Neva Armstrong; brothers Duwayne Armstrong, Simpson Armstrong, Kayle Armstrong; sisters Elaine Ethelbah, Rureko Ann Walker, Donna Marie Armstrong, Loma Linda Cody, Karol Larzelere; aunts Violet Antonio, Helena Velasquez; god sister Amy Gloshay; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Armstrong. Cherlyann's body will brought back to her mother Neva Armstrong's residence in Whisky Flat (Whiteriver) for a two-night wake at 1-0 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4. A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Canyon Day Lighthouse Church with Pastor Reno Johnson officiating. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Whiteriver.
