Gilbert Walker of Canyon Day, died March 9, 2005 in Show Low.

He was born Jan. 12, 1949 in McNary. He enjoyed keeping statistics of all the sports games, locally and professionally. He dearly loved his grandchildren.

Gilbert is survived by his sisters Iva Burnette, Lolita Clay, Rema Motley, Irma Cosay, Velma Martel, Willena Henry; his brothers Ronald Walker, Art Walker, Arnold Walker, Sr., Alfred Walker; his uncle Milton Declay; his aunts Maudie Lavender, Bernice Massey and Louise Walker. He is also survived by 22 nieces, 17 nephews, 22 grandchildren, four brother-in-laws, two sister-in-laws, and numerous relatives and friends.

A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Kevin and Willena Henry's residence in Canyon Day and funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19 with Pastor Marvin Begay
officiating.

Interment was at Canyon Day Cemetery.

Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements
