| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 03/16/2004 Bessie M. Quintero, 82, died March 10, 2004 at PHS Indian Hospital. Bessie lived all her life in Canyon Day and was a Head Start Teacher Assistant/Cultural Specialist. She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Q. Bahlen, Vanta Q. Cooley and Leola Q. Larzelere; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. Services were held Saturday March 13, at Ft. Apache LDS Church with burial at Canyon Day Cemetery.
