The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 04/02/2004 (Sept. 22, 1931 - Mar. 27, 2004) Betty Mae Antonio, 72, died March 27, 2004 in Tucson. Betty was born in Whiteriver and lived in that area all of her life. She was one that enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She married Francis Antonio in 1949, and they enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with each other. Betty was a member of Canyon Day Assembly of God Church. Betty is survived by her husband, Francis Antonio of Canyon Day; eight daughters, Phoebe Antonio, Lela Lacapa, Barbara Goklish, Mercy Antonio, Beverly Jackson, Veronica Antonio, Regina Cosay, and Karen Clarkson; two sons, Davis Antonio and Richard Antonio; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Sanchez. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Velva Paxson; one son, Rocky Antonio; and one granddaughter, Verlynn Fall. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at The Canyon Day Lighthouse Church, with a two-day wake beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 1 in Canyon Day. Burial will be in the Canyon Day Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low is handling the arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
