The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 10/08/2004 Davis "Skitter" Antonio, 42, died Thursday Sept. 30, 2004 at the University Medical Center in Tucson. He was born in Whiteriver, where he has lived his whole life. Davis was employed by the Fort Apache Timber Company. By far his passion in life was being a cowboy. He worked for the livestock association at Cedar Creek, Canyon Day, Turkey Creek, Oak Creek and Chino Springs. Davis had a wonderful sense of humor, always smiling and making everyone laugh. He will be missed by all. Davis is survived by four daughters, Kristy (Marshall) Antonio Gregg of Canyon Day, Maxine Antonio, Frances Antonio, Davionna Antonio all of Whiteriver; one son, Davison Boyd Antonio of Whiteriver; eight sisters, Phoebe, Lela, Barbara, Regina, Veronica, Beverly, Mercy, & Karen; one brother, Richard Antonio; five brother-in-laws; one uncle; four aunts; many family, friends, and relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at The Canyon Day Lighthouse Church. A two-day wake will being 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, . Interment will be in the Canyon Day Cemetery.
