| The White Mountain Independent Show Low, Arizona 12/24/2004 Louise "Aunt Wez" Sanchez, 49, died Dec. 15, 2004 in Whiteriver. She was born in Whiteriver in 1955. Louise attended her last several years of High School in California by way of the placement program available through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints program. Upon graduation she attended Brigham Young University majoring in Business. Louise returned to the reservation and began working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She had three children, April, Amber and Albert. Louise was a caring mother who had a good sense of humor. She never said good-bye, always ending her visits with "I Love You." In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and collecting antiques. She also enjoyed singing and her favorite football team was the Oakland Raiders. She will be missed by all. Louise is survived by her daughters, April Parker (Conway Ethelbah), April Sanchez; one son, Albert Lupe; grandchildren, Elias Ethelbah, Kaleb Ethelbah, Chantay Skidmor; mother, Lillian Sanchez; brother, Ashley Griggs, Sr.; sisters, Rosemary Sanchez, Kay Sanchez, Dorothy Parker, Jackie Kitcheyan, Roxie Baha, Leona Anderson; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, at the Ft. Apache Branch Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A two-day wake will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the family residence in Canyon Day. Interment will be in the Canyon Day Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
