Chester Reid (Chet) Dupree

Chester Reid "Chet" Dupree, 82, formerly of Arizona, died August 2, 2003 in Sacramento, California.

He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Marguerite, his five children, Barbara, Thomas, Diane, James and William DUPREE. Also left are three in-laws, eight grandchildren, and one brother, Dr. Henry DUPREE.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Chet, a Pearl Harbor survivor, moved to Phoenix as a youth.

He taught in numerous states ending in California. Chester enjoyed golf, football, reading, sculpting, and traveling. The highlight of his travels with Marguerite was a trip to England, Scotland and Ireland.

This cherished husband, father, brother, friend, and educator will be greatly missed.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Association are welcome.

A Celebration of Life was held August 9 in Rancho Murieta, CA.
