The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Dec. 5, 1958 Oliver Heuloth, Ex-Mayor Here Killed on Docks Oliver Heuloth, who served as Mayor of Wickenburg from 1946 through 1948, was killed at 11 a.m. last Saturday on the San Pedro, Calif., harbor loading docks where he worked. A net of cargo, being hoisted aboard a ship, fell and crushed him. Funeral services were held in San Pedro Wednesday morning with burial in that city. It was during Mr. Heuloth’s administration as mayor that the present town hall was built. At one time he operated the Wickenburg Dairy in partnership with Harold Nervick who now lives in San Pedro and who is also connected with a ship loading firm. Just prior to leaving here, Mr. Heuloth was a member of the local crew of the Arizona Highway Department. Surviving are the widow, Nell Heuloth; two daughters, Mrs. Stuart Evans of Phoenix and Mrs. Robert Felder of Gardenia, Calif.; and five grandchildren. |
