The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, September 22, 2009 Elizabeth Cortinas, 82, of Clarkdale died September 17 in Cottonwood. She was born July 6, 1927 in Wellsville, Ohio, the daughter of Leonard and Bidie (Tice) Fife. Mrs. Cortinas was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, homemaker and friend. She loved to garden, travel, entertain and cook for family and friends. She was outgoing and loved by everyone that met her. She will be greatly missed. She is truly one of God's angels. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John G. Cortinas; sons John J. Cortinas of Rochester, New York and Jerry Covert (Ann Marie) of Lake Isabella, New York; sisters Hilda Plate of Wellsville, Ohio, Agnes Hubacher of Marietta, Ohio and Hazel Fife of East Liverpool, Ohio; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
