The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, September 01, 2009 Joseph Makofske, 52 years young, of Cornville, AZ died August 23, 2009. He was born April 21, 1957 in Copiague, New York, loving son of Joseph and Marie Theresa Makofske. He owned and operated an industrial catering business for over 25 years. He enjoyed boating, travel, and building anything from engines to houses. He was a warm-hearted, kind man who never stopped thinking of ideas and things he wanted to do. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Deborah Shoman; parents; brother, Jeffrey; two sisters, Jeanne and Lynne; and three nephews, Brandon, Dylan, and Scott. Visitation will be August 29 and 30 in the Moloney Hauppauge Funeral Home in Hauppauge, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held August 31 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Wyandanch, NY at 11 a.m. Interment on September 4 at 10:30 a.m. at Sedona Community Cemetery.
