Edward Sadler, 89, of Cottonwood died August 20. He was born December 19, 1919 in National City, California, the son of Harry and Dorothy H. Joslin Sadler.

He served his country in the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Sadler was employed by the Department of Motor Vehicles. He enjoyed fishing, travel and meeting with his son.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Sadler and his son Robert Sadler.

Mr. Sadler is survived by a daughter Sue Feller (Sherm) of Idaho; a brother Harry (Gladys) of California; a sister Betty and nieces Sharon (Frank) of Washington; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
