Arizona Silver Belt Wednesday, Sep 23rd, 2009 Jackie "Jack" Wallace Allen, 82, of Globe, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Banner Gardens Hospice House in Mesa, Ariz. He was born in Smithburg, W.V. on July 3, 1927, the son of Maxine Mae (Pratt) and Everett Dale Allen. He moved to Globe-Miami, Ariz. in 1957 and later retired from Inspiration Copper Company in Miami, Ariz. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Swiger, of West Virginia; sons, Rex L Allen, of Globe Ariz., and Ronald N. Allen, of Mesa Ariz.; daughters, Sharon Loeffler and Sandra Burns, of Mesa, Ariz.; eight grandsons; one granddaughter and five great-grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his three brothers; two sisters and a son. Jack enjoyed country music, the rodeo, football, The Price is Right and green chili burros. Jack will be warmly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation was held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. at Globe Christian Center, 509 E. Maple St., Globe, Ariz. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 3 p.m. at Globe Christian Center, 509 E. Maple Street, Globe, Ariz. Interment with Military Honors was held at Globe Cemetery, Hackney Avenue, Globe, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Jackie W. Allen were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services, Globe.
