Evelyn L. (Taylor) Kingsley

Evelyn L. Taylor Kingsley, also known as "Pudger," age 77, died Monday at her residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice after a long illness. She was born in New York on Aug. 27, 1926.

Mrs. Kingsley was the Office Manager for Cummins Mohawk Diesel for 30 years. She retired to Wickenburg, Ariz. and lived there for 14 years.

She enjoyed a very special 10 years in Arizona with her great-grandson Dylan Fallis, son of Cubby Fallis and Michelle Lee.

Mrs. Kingsley loved to golf, bowl, and she was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Sophie Taylor and two brothers Robert and Norman Taylor.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law Suzanne J. and Donald Zvara of Lakebay, Wash. and Darlene K. and Dr. Akram Hassanyeh of Statesboro; one son and daughter-in-law Mark W. and Denise Kingsley of East Syracuse, N.Y.; two brothers and sisters-in-law Leonard and Erica Taylor of Florida, and Warren C. "Bub" and Ruth Taylor of Kirkville, N.Y.; seven grandchildren Michelle J. Lee, Edmund F. Tobin III, Mark W. Kingsley, Jr., Chad Kingsley, Joshua Kingsley, Avery Y. Parker, and Lindsay L. Youngblood; eight great-grandchildren, Dylan Matthew Fallis, Koalton H. Tobin, Toby W. Tobin, Markala Kingsley, Merissa Kingsley, Isabella Kingsley, Jacob Kingsley and Justin Kingsley; and her companion Charles F. "Skip" Honors of Statesboro.

A memorial service for Mrs. Kingsley will take place in New York in the spring.
