Carl A. Lind, 71, of Wickenburg, passed away on March 2, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Gail P. Lind, son Carl O. Lind and daughter-in-law Laura of Wittmann, daughter Laura Lind of Phoenix, grandchildren Trina, Wendy, Michelle, Carl (Lucky), Chuck and two great grandchildren Shane and Brody.

Carl was born in Phoenix in 1932, a second-generation native Arizonan. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was initiated into the Operating Engineers Union in 1952 and enjoyed his career with them until retirement. He worked for a few years in New Mexico, as the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Director, but came back to his native Arizona and settled here in Wickenburg. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services were held March 7 in Glendale. Burial was in Resthaven Cemetery, Glendale. He was laid to rest next to his mother, father, grandfather and brother.
