I. Lee Markovitch, Sr., of Wickenburg, passed away April 11, 2004. He was born May 27, 1926 in Wood River, Ill.

Mr. Markovitch was a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He served in the United States Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He was employed by Olin for 15 years, and Lockheed for 18 years as a chemical engineer. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years Antoinette (Toni) Markovitch; son Lee Markovitch, Jr. and daughter-in law Laurie Markovitch; daughter Lura Holderegger; grandson Stephen Lee Holderegger.

Rosary will be said Sunday, April 18, 2004 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Mass will be Monday, April 19, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Father Brian Bell officiating.
