Ernest Frank Popple

Ernest Frank Popple, 67, of Tempe, Arizona was called home on July 4, 2004. Ernie was born in Enfield, New Hampshire.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, daughters Kristen, Kim (Mrs. Keith WENTZEL) and grandson, Konner.

He was a compassionate, caring, giving man who always put the well-being of others (especially his family) before himself. He loved the Lord and his family.

He earned his BA from Keene State College in Keene, NH, and his MS from Arizona State University. He taught for six years in NH and 31 more years at McClintock High School in Tempe.

He was a long-time member of Grace Community Church and was active in the choir and later as an usher for many years. He was also a Gideon. A memorial service was held at Grace Community Church in Tempe.

Donations may be made in Ernie's honor to Grace Community Church-Global Outreach or Gideon's, International.
