| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 9, 2004, p. B9 John Junior Woodhead of Wickenburg, Ariz., formerly of Hagerman, Idaho, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2004. He was born in Hagerman, Idaho, on May 27, 1926, to Jack and Ricca Woodhead. He attended school in Hagerman, graduating in 1944. After graduation John joined the Navy. After his discharge, he attended Boise Junior College. John became an electrical engineer and was project manager for various companies. He married Laura Jean Andrews of Gooding, Idaho, on June 19, 1949 and they moved all over the United States, retiring in Wickenburg 24 years ago. John is survived by his wife, Laura Jean; daughter, Vicki (Bob) Mohler; son John (Lisa) Woodhead; sister, Wynarda (Bill) Exon; Grandchildren, Cindy (daughter Hannah) and Tana (son Tanner) Carter, Erin Maloney, Melissa Mohler, Laura (daughter Kelsey), Debbie (daughter Trinity), John and April Woodhead. His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donation be made to the Hagerman Alumni Associaton, P.O. Box 495, Hagerman, Idaho 83332. |
