| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 30, 2004, p. A10 Glenn C. Salow, 91, formerly of Wickenburg, Ariz. and Ida, Mich., died June 27, 2004 in Clayton, Mich. Mr. Salow was born April 9, 1913 in Novi, Mich. to Glenn L. and Ethel (Taylor) Salow. He married his first wife, Rowena (Root) Salow in 1934, who passed away in 1982. He married Doris (Knapp) Salow in 1984; she died in 1998. He was employed by the city of Farmington Hills, Northville and Novi City, and Pontiac Motors, as an electrical inspector. He retired in 1970. Survivors include his stepsons Larry (Gilda) Knapp of Florida and Verl (Val) Knapp of Ida, Mich.; stepdaughter Beverly (Merlyn) Knapp of Florida; sister-in-law Vern Risner of Michigan; four step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; cousins Ronald Salow and Mary L. Taylor of Novi; and nephews Marvin Risner of Michigan, Ardenna Palmer of Tennessee, Lois Matthews of Michigan, Darlene Hardwick of Tennessee, Leona Risner of Michigan, and Liotta Jacobs of Clayton. Services will be Wednesday, June 30 at the Capaul Funeral Home in Clayton, Mich. Burial will follow in the Oakland Hill Cemetery in Novi, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. |
