Arizona Daily Sun Flagstaff, Arizona Wednesday, July 01, 2009 Ella White Seronde, 61, of Flagstaff, died June 28, 2009, in Navajo. She was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Tuba City, to Charles and Sarah Yazzie. Her maternal clan is Tsinaajinii (Black Streak Forest People) and paternal clan is Kinyaa'aanii (Towering House People). Mrs. Seronde was a longtime employee of WL Gore and Associates, was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a silversmith, weaver, a member of Native American Church and teacher. She is survived by her daughters, Sanora Isaac, Sarah Del Seronde and Caroline Marie Seronde; sons Jordan J. Isaac and Tsinajinni Jean Seronde; sisters Mamie Begay and Mary (Maloney) Oldman; brother Tony Yazzie; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco St., with a reception to follow from 1 to 5 p.m., at Timberline Fire Department Station (Doney Park) on north Highway 89. Any donations kindly accepted and appreciated.
