| Arizona Daily Sun Flagstaff, Arizona Friday, July 10, 2009 Sylvester Barton, 44, of Winslow died Sunday, July 5, 2009. Mr. Barton enjoyed drawing, kids, being with family, landscaping, volunteer work and doing odd jobs. He had great character and good sense of humor. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Rose Barton and Cheyenne Barton; brothers Burt Barton, Garrett Barton, Marvin Barton, Donovan Barton and Roy Barton; aunts Fannie Benally and Carol Wilson; uncle Robert Barton Sr.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Barton; brothers Melvin Barton and Steven Barton; grandmother Mary Barton; and aunt Marie Caballero-Barton. A funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the First Indian Baptist Church, with the Rev. Al Campsen officiating. Interment to follow in Desert View Cemetery.
