Louise V. Williams, 94, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, in Winslow.

Mrs. Williams was born on March 22, 1915, in Kansas City, Mo. In 1932, she moved to Payson and married P.C. (Penn) Carson Williams. The couple then moved to Winslow, where Mr. Williams worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. She was a homemaker whose cooking, baking, sewing and needlework skills were unsurpassed.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Clara; son Don; sister Mary Alice; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous other descendants.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Penn; son Glenn; brother Albert; and sister Josephine.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Desert View Cemetery. A viewing will be Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Greer's Mortuary Chapel, in Winslow.
