Michael Joseph Mastrapasqua

Michael Joseph Mastrapasqua, passed away on August 2nd 2005.

Michael was a man who carried himself with endless endurance, nobility of spirit, and a constant joy of life.

He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts on September 2, 1947, and moved to Phoenix with his parents in 1950.

As a young man, Michael served two tours of duty for his country in Vietnam as a United States Marine. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from ASU and taught art at Cactus High School.

Michael was a beautiful person who deeply touched the lives of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Torey, and is survived by his parents, Salvatore and Evelyn, his daughter, Jennaffer, and his siblings Marie GODLEY and her husband Scott, Raymond and his wife Adrianne, and Joseph and his wife Paula, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Our world is a much brighter and more colorful place because Michael was in it.

A memorial service was held at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N 7th St, Phoenix. Graveside services at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 N Cave Creek Rd.

The family requests that monetary donations be made to Body Positive (www.phoenixbodypositive.org) in lieu of flowers.
