The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ April 28, 1961 Elmer Walker of Bagdad Summoned Elmer C. Walker, flotation mill operator for the Cypress Mine in Bagdad, died suddenly at his home in that town Sunday of a heart attack. His body lay in state at Wickenburg Chapel Tuesday and then was taken to Russellville, near Dragoon, Ariz., where graveside rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Walker was born July 4, 1902, in Texas Canyon, Ariz. Surviving are the widow Katharine Margaret of Bagdad; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Scott of Fruitland, N.M., Mrs. Thelma Whitmire of Safford, and Mrs. Mary Ann McGinn of Tucson; one son, Troy Walker of San Miguel; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Herron of Superior; and three brothers, Bert and Barney of Superior and Dudley of Tucson. |
