The Williams - Grand Canyon News, Williams, Arizona Tuesday, September 22, 2009 Fred M. Augenstein, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 in Parks. He was born July 23, 1935 in Williams. He served our great Nation in the US Navy as a Sea Bee. During his lifetime he owned several businesses with his most current being Mayberrys Custom Metal Fabrication in Yuma. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Donna (Pat) George and Julie (Tim) Mitchell; four grandchildren, Brandie Luna, Pattie Moreno, Cody and Jacob Mitchell; and four great-grandchildren all of Yuma. Fred is also survived by a sister Evelyn (Bill) Huster of Hemet, Calif. and two brothers Tom Augenstein of Flagstaff, and John Augenstein of Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons. Services will be held in Flagstaff on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at Norvel Owens Mortuary with viewing at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. with burial immediately following in Williams. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be sent to the Parks Volunteer Fire Department. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com. |
